Hutchison Hits Town

Inside a packed airport terminal Saturday afternoon at TAC Air, Republican gubernatorial candidate Kay Bailey Hutchison made Texarkana her third “retail campaigning” stop of the day.

“She said this to me the first time I met her 20 years ago and she said it again the week before last … ‘I like retail campaigning because I like shaking hands and touching people,”” said District 68 Texas state Rep. Rick Hardcastle, R-Vernon, as he introduced Hutchison to a roomful of supporters.
